"In the Land of Zero Arms, the one-armed chiropractor is king!" Paraphrased for situational necessity. Back in swing of things again! ;-)
Yesterday's chiropractic return to the office was like doing 0-90 in 2.3 seconds! There's a lot you can do with one working arm. :-)

3 metal anchors in my shoulder holding posterior cartilage in place. More healing time nec. So much for skydiving and yoga this month. ;-)
The patient reports that he is supposed to wear the sling until at least Oct. 26th! The surgery was more extensive than originally thought.
So excited! Sutures (aka "stiches") come out today @ Dr. Lovallo's office in Arlington. Then onto some serious rehab/strength training. :-)

Great performance @ Kennedy Ctr last night! Pilobolis showed amazing strength and grace. After-show Q&A was revealing and a lot of fun! :-)
Only snag in last night's solo flight was the Metro ride. Way too much pushing and shoving. Since when did compassion go out of fashion?

One-armed doc spreading his wings to head to Kennedy Ctr via Metro. The sling is merely a fashion stmt and a warning: Keep your distance! :)
"All men should try to learn before they die, what they are funning from, and to, and why." - James Thurber Including power walks? ;-)
Our genetic programming can influence our daily behaviors. Ex. The academic DNA resisted walking until the athletic heritage took over. :-)
Today's 57-min sling-adorned power walk - took a wrong turn into the Convent area of Holy Cross. Wonder what the sisters were up to this am?

BTW, lots of ginger, tumeric, magnesium, calcium, plus herbal goodies like boswellia have generally done a great job at shoulder pain relief
Successfully drove today to get my chiropractic adjustment. Still haven't taken any meds today but with throbbing, my will is weakening. :)
